Willie Nelson may be “on the road again” but his beautiful photo sets the stage hanging above the banquet table in Downtown Nashville Tennessee at Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant.
Puckett’s known for keeping it country by, “bringing small town charm to the big city, with mismatched tables and chairs and an eclectic clientele of farmers, songwriters, and country music stars, it’s a restaurant serving up a dining experience unlike any other.“
This past Friday night was no exception for Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant as two Nashvillans gathered with family and friends for an elegant country supper in celebration of their impending nuptials. Puckett’s kindly closed for the private function.
Guest gathered for drinks before dinner along the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge overlooking downtown Nashville along the banks of the Mississippi River. As the sun began to set they walked down the street to Puckett’s Restaurant for the bride and grooms rehearsal dinner.
Turkish T was there for the celebration with their Natural Original Bath and Hand Towels as stand-in table runners and dinner napkins. These hand loomed cloths loomed in natural cotton mixed with subtle colored stripes helped dress the tables for this refined country dinner.
Miniature rosemary topiary trees planted in red clay pots dressed with moss, lined the entrance wall and some of the long tables. Small tea lights scattered in between the topiaries lit the entrance and helped illuminate the beautiful calligraphy place cards lined in old tin corn seed feeders on the entrance table.
Calligraphy table signs with names like, “Chapel of Love”, “Let’s Stay Together”, and “Golden Ring” were used to direct guests to there table.
It appears that Puckett’s might have a name for a new signature love banquet called off road with Willie Nelson, Turkish T, and the Chapel of Love!
