Ask any parent “What’s the busiest month of the year?” they will undoubtedly say May!
May is “the unofficial ceremonial month,” marking the end of the school year festivities, final school exams, and graduations. Add spring weddings, baby showers, and garden tours to the mix and one needs a vacation to recover.
This past weekend in May was no different. Blessed with picture perfect sunny spring weather, we utilized our colorful basic bath turkish towels as stand-ins for table toppers to three separate but equally divine parties!
Party One set the stage using our striped loomed basic bath towels in lime, lavender, and aqua. Alternating and layering the brightly colored cloths over the cocktail tables makes for a fun, festive, and casual evening party by the pool. No flowers are needed, only a few colorful candles adding a luminous effect.
Party Two came the next morning at the same location thanks to a kind and smart, hostess who planned back-to-back events. This time hot pink basic bath towels set the mood for a baby shower. A beautiful centerpiece of hot pink and white hydrangeas added a nice feminine touch to the table. Hot Pink Turkish towel cloths with hand tied fringed edges were folded in thirds to make table runners, buffet tablecloths, and seat cushions on the stone wall are added by the water fountain for extra seating. Bon Appetite embroidered Turkish hand towels in white are used as napkins making a casual but elegant luncheon for the expecting mother.

Lime, Aqua, and Lavender basic bath Turkish towels for a sweet sixteen-birthday party in a horse barn
Party Three that evening used the same Lime, Aqua, and Lavender basic bath Turkish towels for a sweet sixteen-birthday party in a horse barn. Make shift benches made of hay bales lined the inside of the barn. Brightly covered Turkish towels were folded in half on the hay bales making a soft seat to sit on top of the hay.
